The Students are Here! The Students are Here!

Eighty-two students arrived here in North Myrtle Beach about a week and a half ago!  It's been a bit of a blur since then as our staff team sought to welcome them, get to know them, help them set the pace for their summer, and encouraged them to find jobs.  We'll just say the first four days were quite busy.  Praise the Lord that almost every student found a job in the first three days after arrival and most of the students started working on Monday of this week.

When the students started work our normal weekly schedules began.  Each week the students will work between 30-40 hours at their jobs and in addition we will have Bible study, two weekly meetings, a social, an evening with the Lord, a weekly outreach and each student will meet with their discipler for two hours each week.  There is a ton that will happen each week as these students take steps of faith to share the gospel with co-workers and people on the beach.  It will truly become a sweet environment for them to grow into a deeper more intimate relationship with their Heavenly Father.
