Students are Coming!

Well...It's that time of year when college students start moving into their dorms and preparing for school to begin.  For us, this means our schedule is about to get really busy and pretty crazy!   Even though it gets crazy, it is one of our favorite times of the year.  It is so much fun to meet new students, especially freshmen.  It's fun to talk with them, hear about where they came from and what their major is.  More than that, it's fun to talk about their spiritual background, their beliefs, and how they came to believe what they do.  Most of all it's fun to share with them the hope of Jesus and what he's done for them!   We couldn't be more excited to start meeting students this week through various events that we are putting on.

WOULD YOU PRAY WITH US FOR THESE STUDENTS AS THEY COME TO CAMPUS?  

Pray For:

• The heart's of freshmen to be softened and open to spiritual things.
• Students to hear the gospel and put their trust in Christ.
• Students to feel welcomed, loved, and to enjoy our events so much that they want to come back!
• Us be loving, caring, and compassionate towards students we meet.
• Us and upper class men to be bold in sharing the gospel.
• Students to come to our various events this week.
• Tonight (Friday, Aug. 22) - 5:30 pm - Leadership Kickoff (for upper class men leading with us this year.)
• Saturday (Aug. 23) - Students move into the dorms.
• Sunday (Aug. 24), 7:30-9:00 pm - Student Organization Fair (Students can find our both, spin a wheel to win a prize, and find out about our upcoming events.
• Monday (Aug. 25), 12:00 Noon - Free Picnic
• Tuesday (Aug. 26), 8:00 pm - First Cru Meeting (On campus this year)
• Wednesday (Aug. 27), 4:00-6:00 pm - Our Leadership Meeting for our student leaders.  During this meeting we will be going out to meet new students.

We so appreciate you praying with us for these new students at a time when there is so much competition for their hearts and minds.
